Asaf Soccer and Sports Academy

Asaf Soccer and Sports Academy is run out of the beautiful 75,000 square foot CitySoccer Indoor (CSI) complex in West Palm Beach. CitySoccer is the premier facility for players and fans. The complex boasts 3 fields that are between 4,600 – 6,000 square feet, giving you a different venue feeling. Each field is equipped with a state of the art playing surface. This new turf has 70% more padding than any other facilities, and with new material technology it is proving to be a great surface to play on! Players and fans also appreciate the increased natural light and brighter overall feel inside the facility.

Marc Joseph

Coach

I was born and raised in Haiti. I moved to the USA in 2001. I’ve been involved in soccer as long as I can remember. I played four years of varsity soccer at Atlantic High School. I have had an amazing experience playing youth soccer in south Florida. I was fortunate enough to receive an athletic scholarship to continue play the game I love at the collegiate level. Throughout my college career, I competed at the Junior college, NCAA and NAIA level, playing in 3 National Tournaments. I attended Jefferson College in Missouri, Tusculum University in Tennessee and I graduated from the University of Mobile in 2012 in Mobile, Alabama. After graduated, I stayed involved in the game through coaching.

Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach
The University of Mobile is considered one of the top five NAIA schools in the country. Within my three years coaching there, we have been ranked 3rd, 5th, 6tn, 7th and 15th in the Nation, with a 40-16-3 overall record. In 2017 we won the SSAC tournament, defeating 1 team in the country in the final and making it to the elite 8 of the national tournament. I have had the opportunity to coach and work some amazing players throughout my time at Mobile. In my three years coaching at the University of Mobile, we have had 8 All-American athletes and countless all-team first conference, one of whom (Nathanial Bedai) just signed a professional contract with Chattanooga FC, MPSL Pro.

I am originally from Dallas, Texas, but I have recently graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Florida May of 2021. My passion for soccer has always been strong, therefore my goal is to coach the beautiful game to players and spark that same passion in them by sharing my knowledge of the game and directing them to reach their full potential.

Summary
The reason why I enjoy coaching at Boynton Beach Knights is that the
club directives and my own are aligned in goals, methods and
ultimately results. I have never coached solely to win, especially
since I am involved with the younger age groups, but coach purely for
development. I strongly believe that if taught the correct way,
winning will be a natural result as players improve. The clubs
philosophy of playing from the back, keeping possession but still
encouraging individual skill development, is one that has my full
endorsement. I look forward to help improve many more players on their
journey playing a sport I have loved and been playing from I was 4
years old.

I work for Palm Beach County School District, and I am a Head Soccer Coach at Boynton Beach Knights FC.
I was born in Haiti, small and beautiful country in North America. There, I learned many great things in life and also the art of playing the World’s sport; football, known in the United States as Soccer. I have been playing this beautiful game for many years. Soccer taught me lessons that one would never learn in school; character, teamwork, responsible, how to deal with success and failure, sharing, caring and more….
I moved to the United States in December, 2001 where I attended Atlantic Community High located in Delray Beach Florida. That is where my soccer career started in the U.S. I played three seasons at ATL, lead the team to two District Championships, one Regional Final and I was selected in ALL State Team in my last season. I have received numerous individual and collective honors as a footballer. In addition of my individual high school success, I was selected by opposing coaches as a First Team All Conference player in 2005 and 2006 season, First Team All Regional Player in two consecutive seasons (2005,2006), and First Team at the National Tournament also in two consecutive seasons (2005,2006).
My proudest collective and individual honors are: High School District Champion in 2003 and 2005, National Champion with Jefferson College in 2006, going into the Tournament as the lowest National ranked team. As individual, I received my first international call-up to the Haitian National Team in 2008. It was a very special moment for me and my family. Three years later I received an email from the Athletic Department at Jefferson College saying that I am going to be inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame in 2012.

As a parent of both a boy and a girl ages 13 & 7 years old, it gives me great comfort and convenience to put them together in a location that is safe, clean, and fun. My children, Ashley and Ashton, have been going to coach Asaf’s camp for two consecutive summer. I can truly say the camp is AMAZING!!! The camp is very diverse in its activities. The camp has weekly themed activities filled with competition and contest that the children look forward to. The camp offers a variety of sports (soccer, basketball, dodgeball, etc.). One of the greatest asset of the camp is the intense soccer training that they receive on a daily basis. My children tell me after each summer how they have improved tremendously in their soccer skills. It is quite evident of their skill improvement on the field. Both my children eagerly look forward to attending camp daily all summer long. I drop them off happy and pick them up happy. They are always eager to tell me how amazing and fun their day was. The camp counselors are friendly , happy, and enjoy working with the kids. They have so much fun together building great relationship. I can truly say coach Asaf’s camp is the best camp for my kids. The children have a blast all summer long. We look forward for our 3rd year. Thanks so much coach Asaf.

We have known coach Asaf for 15 years and throughout he has had an amazing impact on our children’s development not only in a soccer sphere but he has installed in our children the correct values of sportsmanship, hard work and dedication. He has fostered in our kids a tremendous love of the game through his enthusiasm and technical ability. Asaf played at a very high level and he is able to demonstrate and perform all the skills that he teaches and because of his personal ability and his professional background he has the respect of the kids who are anxious to learn from him. Asaf sports academy has been an excellent camp experience for our son. The indoor camp provides a fantastic opportunity for children of different ages to learn and play many different sports without worrying about the extreme summer heat or rain.
